Reusing furniture through repair and reupholstering has become an integral part of our design process, showcasing our dedication to minimising waste and maximising resources.

As designers, we consider it a fundamental practice to prioritise the repurposing of existing furniture, reducing the environmental impact of our projects and supporting a circular economy.

Paying it Back

Sustainability is our DNA. Wherever possible we look to minimise material use and always recommend the most environmentally friendly options. Throughout the design and office fit out process we advise you on supplies and products to minimise carbon footprint.

In addition to this, we are committed to going one stage further and paying it back to the planet. For every £200k spent, we offset 20 tonnes of carbon. This means that this year we will offset over 200 tonnes!

Case Study: Sustainable Office Fit Out For FMX

A prime example of our commitment to sustainable design is our collaboration with the company FMX.

When tasked with designing their office, we embraced the challenge of revamping furniture for 17 workstations and equipment, ensuring a seamless blend of functionality and aesthetics.

To accomplish this, we partnered with Coggin, who are known for their expertise in furniture refurbishment. From the client-holding sofas to the task chairs, the result of this fruitful collaboration was a harmonious marriage of Coggin’s technical knowledge and Soul Spaces’ creative talent.

Together, we successfully tackled the project brief, delivering exceptional results within the designated timeframe and budget.
