If dive bars are your thing, The Star of Kings is the one for you. It’s been serving up great drinks, playing host to some of London’s best street food traders and providing entertainment in the form of DJs, live music and comedy nights since long before Coal Drops Yard was all the rage. Best of all, if you’re partial to a bit of corporate karaoke, The Star of Kings has you covered.

Alternatively, if you’re looking to unwind with some very reasonably priced drinks at the end of a stressful work week, look no further than Simmons on Caledonian Road. Happy hour takes place from 4-9pm every day of the week but Friday’s DJ nights are when Simmons’ affectionately named ‘Rave Cave’ really comes into its own.

Where to go for post work drinks in Kentish Town

Bored of the same old haunts? Why not give new local hang out Never For Ever a try? It’s been getting rave reviews since it opened in 2020 thanks to its friendly staff and great atmosphere. Head there after your final meeting of the day at Camden Gateway’s plant-filled coworking space to enjoy a great selection of draught beers, top notch wines and a modern menu of small plates and freshly made pizzas in a rustic, industrial setting.
