Believe it or not, BOXPARK isn’t all this major South London borough has to offer. For the best after work drinks head towards Croydon’s Surrey Street Market and you’ll happen upon Mr. Fox, which has become a firm favourite with locals thanks to its friendly ambience, creative cocktails and locally sourced menu.
Post work drinks with a view in Crystal Palace
There is certainly no shortage of great post work drinks venues in Crystal Palace, especially on the main triangle just off the famous Crystal Palace Park. We’re big fans of The Faber Fox as it boasts a stellar beer garden where you can enjoy sensational views of the London skyline with your post work pint.
Great after work drinks in Brixton
The vibrant Brixton social scene is truly unlike any other thanks to the area’s rich cultural identity. You’ll be spoilt for choice, but we guarantee The Blues Kitchen on Acre Lane won’t disappoint. Treat yourself to a tipple from their extensive bourbon menu and regroup with some delicious Texas soul food before dancing the night away to some of the best live music and DJs in town.
Alternatively, if you’re after good vibes, good after work drinks and the chance to sample offerings from exciting newcomers to the South London food scene on your work night out, Pop Brixton is the place to be. This community initiative has transformed a disused plot of land in Brixton into a bustling community hub and food market. Well worth a visit.

The Castle has stood proud on the Tooting high street since 1832. Where to go for after work drinks in Wimbledon
It’s no surprise that the home of one of the world’s best-loved sporting events offers some excellent watering holes. Just a short walk from Wimbledon station, The Alexandra pub boasts two sizeable traditional bars offering tasty pub fare – think burgers, sausage rolls and fish and chips – and live sport on telly. Not to mention it’s also the home of Wimbledon’s top rooftop drinking destination, The Loft.
